The Story so far

Since qualifying as a Chartered Accountant some 25 years ago, I have gained significant experience as a management consultant, business advisor, financial director and Partner within Westbury a City practice. Whilst a general practice Partner, advising clients on a wide range of matters, my emphasis has always been more business oriented. Over the years, I became actively involved himself with clients’ business strategy - both informally and formally- through the provision of effective consulting services.
As an entrepreneur, in 2002 I teamed up with a restaurant client and a well known celebrity and vegetable supplier to form a successful vegetable business, which now has a turnover of several million and supplies most of London's top restaurants and hotels from our farm in Surrey.We also have retail outlets in a variety of locations including Borough and other London markets.
It was also about that time that I founded my first online business, London Presence which has since become part of the Made Simple Group. Over the past 5 years, the Made Simple Group has grown to become a multi-million pound international operation. We now have numerous websites all serving the new and young business community; process thousands of transactions every month with customers in more than fifty countries. Our award winning operation Companies Made Simple has established itself as one of the leading company formation sites in the United Kingdom. Each month, we form over 2000 companies.

The Made Simple Group continues to grow and our highly successful company credit report, companysearchesmadesimple  provides credit reports and scores on hundreds of companies every week.
My knowledge of and expertise within the online business arena has grown significantly, and,I now own and manage a portfolio
of successful, innovative online businesses.
Despite running the accountancy practice, heading up the online businesses and being actively involved in the vegetable business, with Gregg Wallace of Masterchef fame.
I am also involved in the running of a family property company which involves refurbishing and in some cases building
new properties and am involved in a Kent leisure business.
I also finds time to consult on doing business online and speak at seminars on a range of business
development, growth and online business subjects.

Bsc in Accounting and Finance; Fellow of the Institue of Chartered Accountants, Financial Planning Certificate

My Interests

All sport - I have been a Chelsea supporter and season ticket holder for more than 40 years. I love my cricket being both a member of the MCC and a Lords Taverner.
I am a keen reader, love cinema, theatre and classical music.
