With headquarters in Colorado Springs, Colorado, HEI Resources partners with an array of sophisticated investors to facilitate numerous economically viable mining, oil, and gas projects annually. In addition, HEI Resources collaborates with industry professionals such as engineers, drilling contractors, and geophysicists to ensure that these engagements receive optimal support.
Before pitching prospects, HEI Resources provides extensive research and analysis on each project. The firm’s team also welcomes input from outside experts when prospective partners request additional due diligence. HEI recognizes the risks involved in potential projects and works to share as much information as possible with prospective partners in advance.
In 1997, HEI Resources was founded by current President and CEO Charles Reed Cagle as Heartland Energy, Inc. Since that time, the company has expanded its reach beyond the Midwest region of the United States. As of 2012, the firm has facilitated funding for projects in the Atacama Region of Chile and Acadia Parish in Louisiana, as well as the state of Texas. Closer to home, the enterprise has managed projects in Colorado’s Adams and Logan Counties.
To complement its business operations, HEI Resources supports a range of non-profit groups, including Kids on Bikes, Rocky Mountain Kids, America for Gold, and Young Life. In addition, the firm helps fund Outreachers, a charitable organization founded by Reed Cagle. For the past three years, Outreachers has assisted children in Guatemala and the United States whose families face serious financial challenges. The group particularly supports young people living in poverty in the Colorado Springs area.
