Crash Rated Roadblocker 30 tonnes at 50 mph
Tested at MIRA on Friday 20th March 2009 the Road blocker attained the highest PAS68 specification currently available. The only Roadblocker of its kind to have passed both PAS 68 (30 tonnes/ 50MPH) and also holds the US Department of State K12 certification.

We undertook a further crash test using the same truck stopper as previous, this time against an American truck. Travelling at 80 kph the truck was disabled upon impact. The vehicle did not penetrate past the front face of the Roadblocker, thus conforming to the British Standard PAS 68: 2007, and was also awarded the D.O.S Crash rating of K12. The blocker once again continued normal operation after removal of the sacrificial front radius plate.

Crash Tested Road blocker/ Truck Stop PAS 68
Further testing was carried out using an 18 tonner against Heald's HCR4M1200RB Roadblocker (Truck Stopper). Again travelling at 80 kph, the truck was disabled upon impact with nil penetration. The Blocker continued normal operation after removal of the sacrificial front radius plate.

The M800CR4 was tested against a 7.5 tonne truck travelling at 50mph. The blocker brought the vehicle to a complete halt with nil penetration and therefore conformed to BS PAS 68: 2007 (Specification for Vehicle Security Barriers).

Anti Vandal Road blockers
The Heald Road blocker provides high level security for military applications through to car park controls. The system is manufactured to withstand repeated impact and still operate, giving high security levels to all sites. Specified worldwide for its strength and reliability, the Road blocker comprises of a hydraulically powered reinforced steel barrier that lies flush to the road surface when at rest and raises to a height of between 340mm and 1200mm (dependant on model) upon activation.

Heald Limited Telescopic Bollards
A retractable steel post specially designed to provide all round high level security for commercial premises. Day or night the 'Telepost' telescopic bollard can be used to strengthen shutters, and can help to prevent or restrict vehicle access. Easily retractable using the integral handle, the Telepost simply lifts out of the ground.

The Telescopic lockable bollard comes in 2 types:

* Standard - requires padlock
* Integral Lock

Removable Steel Bollards
Ideal for protecting industrial and commercial sites, the heavy duty Removable bollard is manufactured from RHS steel. The Removable steel Bollard simply slides into the uniquely designed base plate, eliminating the need for any excavation when fitting. An integral locking system secures it in place, thus presenting a solid barrier against unauthorised vehicle entry.

Fold Down Parking Post Bollards
Ideal for protecting industrial and commercial sites, the heavy duty surface mounted Fold Down bollard is manufactured from RHS steel. Designed to provide an efficient and economical defence against unauthorised use, the Fold Down bollard is sturdy, durable and easy to operate. It provides an ideal option for all round site protection. Fitted with an integral lock, the Fold Down bollard is easy to install and will take the weight of vehicles.

Automatic Security Barriers
The Automatic Arm Barrier is a cost effective solution to controlling parking. Designed to be used in conjunction with a variety of entry systems, e.g. Time clock, proximity card etc, the heavy duty automated arm barrier is suitable for high traffic volumes. Alternative colours available on request.

Heavy duty version available in beam lengths of up to 8 metres and standard duty version available up to 6 metres.

Manual Security Barriers
Manual Arm Barriers are manufactured from heavy duty steel and aluminium.
Available in lengths of 3-9 metres with an aluminium beam, a heavy duty steel option is also available in beam lengths of 3-6 metres.

The barriers come supplied with a quality padlock, and are available with the option of bottom skirts for added security. Raising barriers are counterbalanced for easy operation. Both barriers have the option of installation into concrete.

Steel Roller Barriers
The steel roller barrier slides along sealed bearings to control traffic flow and access. Easy to operate by site personnel but having a robust and heavy duty construction, the steel roller barrier will lock in the open and closed positions. The locking mechanism is high security and is housed inside the heavy duty carrier frame. Constructed using three separate locking points it also offers flexibility.

Telescopic Ornate Bollard
The Ornate Telepost combines a more aesthetically pleasing appearance with the convenience of a telescopic bollard. Manufactured from 8mm guage Polymer, the bollard has a total out of ground height of 850mm (33.5 inches approximately) with depth below ground of 1140mm (44.9 inches approximately).
With a stainless steel locking cylinder and handle, and comprising of a 10 pin 'anti-drill' push button lock, the Telepost is both versatile and secure.
The bollard has a total lifting weight of 22kg.

Height Restrictors
Fixed or swinging height restrictors are ideal for use in areas where traffic restriction is required, providing effective control against higher vehicles. Manufactured from heavy duty steel and aluminium, they are supplied in various widths and heights to suit most applications.

Traffic Flow Plates
Traffic flow plates encourage a one way traffic flow and help to prevent unauthorised entry or exit.
With heavy duty steel construction, the traffic flow plates have been uniquely designed to withstand continuous use and can be used by most types of vehicles, including HGV's. Internal rubber buffers fitted within the units reduce noise levels. A unique replaceable top flap on the recessed model ensures no further costly excavations, should replacement become necessary.
