About Hasan Yardimci
Over the course of the past 15 years, Hasan Yardimci has risen through the ranks of the business world, relocating from Turkey to the United States and then back. Hasan Yardimci is currently serving as Director of Strategic Planning and Business Development for Arçelik, a global appliance and electronics manufacturer that has presence in over 100 countries through its subsidiaries and partners. Hasan Yardimci's work includes developing strategies for Arçelik's main businesses and seeking new business opportunities by monitoring global technologies, players and consumer trends. Hasan Yardimci is a graduate of Istanbul's Bogazici University where he got a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. After graduating from Bogazici University, Hasan Yardimci served as Business Development Manager with Istanbul-based dairy producer Peysan where he focused on adding new revenue streams to the company working directly with the President. Hasan Yardimci left Peysan in 1997 to attend Kellogg Graduate School of Management of Northwestern University, after earning a full-tuition scholarship from the Turkish Education Fund. Yardimci earned his Master of Business Administration in 1999 and immediately joined McKinsey and Company. Prior to joining Arçelik in 2009, Hasan Yardimci held senior positions at Miller Brewing Company, Sears Holdings Corporation and CashNetUSA in strategy, pricing and marketing roles. Hasan Yardimci is an avid sportsman having once played for the Turkish National Water Polo Team, competing in several international tournaments. In his spare time, Hasan Yardimci enjoys triathlons, windsurfing, kitesurfing, snowboarding and skiing.
