Harold David Bishop Jr. is a long-time consultant and President of his own automation solutions and integration services company. Having worked in the industry for 25 years, David Bishop is well-acquainted with a multitude of automation systems. David Bishop’s consulting expertise has benefitted companies across the United States and in other countries. David Bishop first entered the industrial automation industry as a Software Control Engineer for Measurex, developing custom application software in the paper industry on HP, Vision, and MxOpen Systems. After a decade of working for Measurex, David Bishop became a consultant. Working for companies such as Bayer AG, Wyeth (now part of Pfizer Inc.), and Cargill, Inc., David Bishop replaced and upgraded systems through integration, validation, and qualification services. Having established Object Technologies CEM Inc. in 1995, David Bishop has functioned as a consultant for 15 years. David Bishop’s staff is certified to install Microsoft and Cisco networks, SCADA applications, and industrial automation products, such as Siemens, Foxboro, and Honeywell. David Bishop’s current clients include Eli Lilly and Company and FMC Corporation, for whom he has provided migration services, automation and design services and support through long-term contracts and on-site staff dedicated to continuously assisting ongoing validation services. In addition to owning Object Technologies, David Bishop co-owns Quality Automation, an international full-service contract compliance and validation firm. David Bishop graduated from DeVry Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology. Studying Electronics Advanced Programming Concepts, David Bishop finished his program in three years. David Bishop mainly spends his free time further studying subjects related to his profession, but occasionally takes a break from reading up on electronics to enjoy fictional novels.
