 Dr. Gregory Pernoud attended St. Louis University for his undergraduate studies. He graduated in 1972 with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and subsequently enrolled in the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry to pursue his Doctor of Dental Science. While working toward his degree, Dr. Gregory Pernoud completed an externship in oral and maxillofacial surgery. After dental school, he undertook a general surgery internship and completed his residency at the Washington University School of Medicine in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Gregory Pernoud completed his board certification in 1981, and he remains a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. A Fellow of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Dr. Gregory Pernoud also affiliates with the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and American Dental Association. In addition, he holds membership in the St. Louis Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and other local and state dental societies. Immediately following his residency, Dr. Gregory Pernoud established his own private practice in Festus, Missouri, eventually opening an auxiliary office in Rolla in 1992. Dr. Gregory Pernoud and his team are dedicated to providing personalized care to patients before, during, and after a procedure. Dr. Gregory Pernoud begins with an initial consultation in which he informs patients about the details of the procedure. All of the treatment rooms at the clinics are outfitted with cutting-edge technology, and the staff at Dr. Gregory Pernoud’s private practices also sees to patients’ post-operation needs. The most common procedure Dr. Gregory Pernoud performs is the removal of teeth and preparation of the gums for dentures. He also handles dental implants; pathology, including general anesthesia; and wisdom tooth removal. Occasionally, Dr. Gregory Pernoud treats facial fractures (trauma), and he has trained in orthognathic surgery. He uses a CO2 laser for precision surgery. In addition, Dr. Gregory Pernoud takes emergency patients on a daily basis.
