Greg Morganroth - Professional Summary:
Following graduation (cum laude) from the University of Michigan Medical School, Dr. Greg Morganroth pursued an internship at the University of Pennsylvania. Upon completion of his internship, Dr. Greg Morganroth cultivated his specialty in dermatology and dermatologic surgery as a resident at Yale University, where he focused his efforts on skin cancer surgery, reconstructive surgery, and laser surgery. At the end of this residency, Dr. Greg Morganroth accepted a one-year fellowship under the auspices of the American College of Mohs Surgery, during which he learned the finer points of Mohs, laser, and cosmetic dermatologic surgery. After fellowship training at the Missouri-based Skin and Mohs Surgery Center, Baptist Medical Center, and the Hunkeler Eye Institute, Dr. Greg Morganroth relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area and launched a successful private practice in dermatology.
Since then, Dr. Greg Morganroth has performed tens of thousands of surgical procedures for patients afflicted with skin cancer, skin tumors, scars, birthmarks and other types of conditions in and around the region, and he maintains a strong commitment to the implementation of new, minimally invasive cosmetic surgery techniques under local anesthesia that reduce recovery time and ensure lasting health. As founder and President of the California Skin Institute, Dr. Greg Morganroth commands a full-service dermatologic organization (dermatology, plastic surgery, and pathology), with locations in Mountain View, Saratoga, San Jose/Los Gatos, and Los Altos. In his private practice, Dr. Greg Morganroth areas of expertise include Mohs surgery for skin cancer, skin reconstruction, laser surgery, and local anesthesia cosmetic surgery including facelifts, eyelifts, chin implants, liposuction, scar revisions, and hair transplants.
An educator as well, Dr. Greg Morganroth has served as Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of California, San Francisco and currently holds the position of Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at Stanford University. Throughout his 15 years as a dermatologist, Dr. Greg Morganroth has been a member of several professional organizations, and today he maintains fellowships with the California Dermatology Society, the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and the American College of Mohs Surgery. Along with his wife and children, Dr. Greg Morganroth resides in Silicon Valley.
