Throughout his career in the nonprofit sector, Greer Kendall has experienced a large measure of success in his native country of Zambia. Several years after graduating from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing, he visited Zambia for the first time since he was 6 years old. Greer Kendall witnessed the snowballing orphan crisis in the southern African nation, which inspired him to create Family Legacy Missions International.
As the president and chief executive officer of Family Legacy, Greer Kendall oversees a broad range of social initiatives and construction projects in Zambia. Under the leadership of Greer Kendall and fellow executives, Family Legacy built the Tree of LIFE Children’s Village with 43 houses, 20 classrooms, and a 12,000-square-foot meeting area. The village also includes a number of villas designed to house Americans visiting the ministry to educate orphaned and vulnerable children. Looking forward, Family Legacy is currently building two additional homes for younger children.
