Graham Dorrans is a professional football player, who was born on May 5, 1987 in Glasgow, Scotland.
This talented footballer has played three matches in the Under-21 level of the Scotland national football team and was also selected for the 2007 U-20 World Cup in Canada.
At an early age of 13, Graham Dorrans started his youth club career with the Scottish First Division outfit, the Livingston Football Club (FC). He served a brief loan period with the Partick Thistle Football Club during the first half of the 2005-06 season. During his loan stint, he scored 5 goals in just 15 appearances. After he returned to his home club, in the 2007-08 season he netted 12 goals and became the top goal scorer of the Livingston’s club. During his tenure with the club, he scored 16 goals in 77 matches for the Livi Lions. It was his performances during the 2007-08 season and the training period at the West Bromwich Albion Football Club, which impressed Tony Mowbray, the manager of the Baggies’ club, to sign a 2-year contract with Graham Dorrans.
For his commendable performances, Graham Dorrans was named in the Paper Football Association (PFA) Scottish League One XI in the 2007-08 season. His fellow players have voted him as the PFA League One Player of the Year for 2007-08. Graham Dorrans also received the Scottish First Division Player’s Player of the Year award for his best play in the closing months of the 2007-08 season.
