About Godwin Maduka
Godwin Maduka - Professional Summary: Utilizing his expertise in the field of pain management, Dr. Godwin Maduka established the Las Vegas Pain Institute and Medical Center, where he now directs the practice in his capacity as the Medical Director and CEO. Now the state’s largest facility dedicated to pain treatment, the Las Vegas Pain Institute and Medicine Center maintains office locations in both Las Vegas and Henderson. Dr. Godwin Maduka assembled a team of qualified doctors who provide the full gamut of medical treatments for joint, muscle, cancer, and post-surgical pain, as well as more complex disorders. Some of the advanced procedures available to patients at the Las Vegas Pain Institute include injections, joint blocks, radiology, neurostimulators, and several minimally invasive surgeries. Dr. Godwin Maduka began his medical training at the Mercer University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Atlanta, after completing a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Rust College. After graduating from the institution with a Doctor of Pharmacy, he enrolled at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center to purse a Doctor of Medicine. While studying for his degree, Dr. Godwin Maduka worked as a Staff Pharmacist at the Regional Medical Center at Memphis. In 1997, he earned his M.D. and completed his internship training, subsequently enrolling in the Beth Israel Medical Center residency program in Boston. Dr. Godwin Maduka’s interest in pain management led him to the residency program at Harvard Medical School, which emphasizes various aspects of pain management, including critical care, acute and chronic pain, and anesthesiology. Dedicated to sharing his knowledge of pain management and advancing the practice, Dr. Godwin Maduka oversees the Department of Pain Management and Anesthesiology at Touro University Nevada as the Clinical Faculty Supervisor. He also participates in the Nevada State Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Academy of Pain Management, the International Association of Healthcare Professionals, and other industry organizations.
