About Glenn Sugden

Currently working towards his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Education at the University of California, Berkeley, Glenn Sugden possesses an extensive career in the software development field. The recipient of an AA in Math and Liberal Arts from the College of Marin and a graduate of Fountain Valley School of Colorado, Glenn Sugden began his career by holding a summer job at Scientific American Medicine as a Software Developer who created applications for reading medical case studies on Apple and Amiga operating systems.

Following his education at Fountain Valley School of Colorado, Glenn Sugden accepted the position of Software Developer with Unilink Software and designed client tracking and data management programs. Subsequently, he devised equipment that aided Florastar, Inc., with its accounting and inventory concerns. Lockheed Missiles and Space Company then hired Sugden as a System Analyst. For three years, he engaged in research and development of neural networking based on Donald Spect's Probabilistic Neural Network. Moreover, he applied his discoveries to his own speech and character recognition computer programs.

For the next several years Glenn Sugden simultaneously served as an Accelerated Free Fall Instructor/Safety and Training Advisor and as a Senior Developer for Tools and Design for Adventure Aerosports and Presage Software, Inc., respectively. In the former position, Sugden performed harness-hold free-fall skydiving and joined students during initial jumps. At Presage Software, he wrote DOS and Macintosh programs while coding, debugging, and developing prototypes. Some of his creations include Contraption Zack, The Even More Incredible Machine, and Star Wars Screen Entertainment.

Before returning to school, Glenn Sugden acted as President, Technical Director, and Co-Founder of Flatline Software. Although this game development company folded, Sugden takes value in the experiences he received during this time. Today, he supplements his studies by functioning as a Lab Assistant, Teacher's Assistant, and Tutor.
