Geraldine Middleton M.A

Geraldine Middleton prepared for her long service in the field of public education through a number of educational pursuits. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Social Welfare from Saint Augustine’s College in Raleigh, North Carolina, and next enrolled in Montclair State University in New Jersey, where she received her Master’s in Social Studies and Correctional Education with a concentration in Alternative Education. Geraldine Middleton’s next educational endeavor took her to East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina, where she obtained an Ed.S. in Educational Administration and Supervision. A champion of ongoing education, Geraldine Middleton is currently pursuing her Doctor of Education in Educational Administration and Policy Studies at Wayne State University.

 

Geraldine Middleton has put her training to good use in the public education sector, having served in myriad positions in various school districts in Illinois, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Michigan. In her different roles, Geraldine Middleton has helped districts turn around student achievement, implemented performance-based teacher evaluation processes, provided education leadership for high-ranking personnel, and improved budgeting procedures and processes.

 

Today, Geraldine Middleton serves as Educational Consultant for The Masonboro Group, Inc., in Wilmington, North Carolina, where she takes on a host of diverse duties. Important aspects of Ms. Middleton’s post involve the development of school improvement plans and turnaround plans for schools with low performance scores. Geraldine Middleton also ensures that core content subject areas align with curriculum, creates training programs for principals, conducts instructional audits, and helps school districts administer feasibility studies.
