George Kuhn

George Kuhn possesses over 20 years of experience working with people in educational, business, and service contexts. His career began as a Personnel Intern for the City of Lompoc, California. After college, George Kuhn worked as a Human Resources Assistant and Recruiter, where he participated in all stages of the hiring process. He then took a job as a Receiving Supervisor, and his duties included supervising and processing shipments. Following this position, George Kuhn returned to people-oriented positions as an Office Manager and Service Manager. He helped hire, train, and supervise workers, as well as developed a protocol for customer assistance. From 1994 until 2007, George Kuhn worked as a Teacher at the Dry Creek Joint Elementary School District in Roseville, California. As an educator, he improved his classroom by meeting with a professional learning team, interpreting assessment tests, and setting teaching goals. George Kuhn put his human resources skills to use by managing classroom activities with deliberate personnel strategies, as well as creating incentives programs to encourage successful teachers. He also performed research and wrote a successful application for a technology grant that paid for eight computers and other classroom equipment. In 2007, George Kuhn relocated to Phoenix-Talent School District #4 in Medford, Oregon, where he also worked as a Teacher. While in this position, he participated in a learning group that assessed teacher strengths and weaknesses, setting objectives in response to this analysis. George Kuhn adopted teaching methods for the particular learning styles of his students, bringing verbal, visual, and kinesthetic learning materials into his classroom and dividing students into specified groups.
