Veteran building and development professional George Kalivretenos operates as President of Sun Holding LLC, a development firm that focuses on residential projects for single-family and multiple-family housing communities. Located in Florida, George Kalivretenos possesses over 20 years of experience in construction and property development ranging from commercial to municipal projects across the United States. In addition to managing all aspects of Sun Holdings LLC, from land acquisition to development and construction, George Kalivretenos also attends seminars to teach other industry professionals about marketing and construction. George Kalivretenos initially attended such seminars as a student in 1976. Since then, he has utilized his knowledge and skill set to serve in numerous senior positions with development companies. George Kalivretenos started at Rylea Homes, Inc., and Sequoia Building Corporation as Division President. For Rylea Homes, he handled operations in Virginia. As Division President of Sequoia Building Corporation, George Kalivretenos oversaw projects in Virginia and Maryland. In 1991, he relocated to Florida where he joined Keystone Hattie Homes Inc. and then Sunland Custom Homes Inc. Aside from his career, George Kalivretenos contributes to his community and regularly supports United Cerebral Palsy and the American Cancer Society, Inc. He also donates his time and resources to organizations dedicated to the research and treatment of Alzheimer’s and dementia. In his free time, George Kalivretenos enjoys his home in Florida. Taking advantage of the warm climate and location by the coast, he takes great pleasure in boating, walking, biking, and golfing. Additionally, George Kalivretenos likes reading novels by John Grisham and Nicholas Sparks. Some of his favorite novels include The Client and The Notebook.
