George Guzman is a professional poker player, who lives in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the United States of America. He made his first entry into the poker world in the year 2006, when he took part in the Four Final Poker Tournament held at Nassau, Bahamas. He played in the No-Limit Hold'em event and his third-place finish earned him $13,875 in prize money. In the following year, George Guzman made his first appearance at the 38th Annual World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Event #9 - Limit Omaha Hi/Lo and pocketed $5,369.


In June 2008, George Guzman came back strongly in the 39th Annual World Series of Poker held at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. In this tournament, he played in Event #6 - Omaha Hi/Lo 8 or Better for total prize money worth $1,137,045. He outlasted 833 professional poker players, who entered the event and finished in third place. It was this landmark winning in his poker career that earned him $93,806 and worldwide reputation as a skillful poker player. In the following month, George Guzman continued his good run with a 6th place finish in the Mixed Hold'em – Limit/No-Limit event at the Orleans Open Tournament in the Mixed Hold'em - Limit / No-Limit event held at the Orleans Hotel & Casino.


As of 2008, George Guzman has made $114,760 in tournament winnings that include $99,175 in WSOP and Circuit Earnings.
