For over twenty years, Dr. Geoffrey Kwitko has helped many satisfied patients who sought his help for problems such as dry eye, issues with tearing and the tear ducts, thyroid eye disease, and cosmetic eyelid and orbital surgery. In private practice since 1991, Dr. Geoffrey Kwitko began his studies at the University of Western Ontario where he pursued undergraduate studies in mathematics and applied physics. Dr. Geoffrey Kwitko enrolled at the University of Western Ontario Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, where he obtained his MD in 1984. Dr. Geoffrey Kwitko’s internship was at McGill University in Montreal, and his residency in ophthalmology was at the Kresge Eye Institute at Wayne State University. Dr. Geoffrey Kwitko was also awarded a fellowship at the Kresge Eye Institute to study orbital, oculoplastic, lacrimal and neuro-ophthalmic surgery. Dr. Geoffrey Kwitko has developed a reputation over the years as an astute and inventive problem solver. His medical and administrative skills led to him serving as the Chief of Ophthalmology at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Chief of Surgery at Memorial Hospital of Tampa. Dr. Geoffrey Kwitko also teaches at South Florida University, where he is a Clinical Assistant Professor. Dr. Geoffrey Kwitko is a Fellow of the International College of Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons.
