Gary Stys

A successful salesman and manager with more than 25 years of experience, automotive sales professional Gary Stys offers effective business strategies and cordiality to customers. Mr. Stys spent 16 of those years at Chrysler Plymouth Jeep of Homestead, Florida, as a Salesperson. In his first two years, Mr. Stys increased new car sales volume by about 27 percent and used car sales by more than 50 percent. Eventually, he received a promotion, becoming the youngest Sales Manager in the company’s history.

After three years as a Sales Manager, Gary Stys rose to the position of Finance Director at the dealership, where he managed its finance and insurance program. During his tenure as the Finance Director, Mr. Stys increased sales of pre-owned vehicles by 20 per month. Mr. Stys then became the General Sales Manager, reporting directly to the General Manager of the dealership. For three years, he continued to improve sales volume overall, tripling their client base in one year. He also developed alliances with other dealers to create the "Homestead Mile" of car dealerships, resulting in improved visibility and market penetration.

In 1995, Gary Stys became the General Manager and Dealer Principal of Chrysler Plymouth Jeep of Homestead, overseeing the operations of the dealership and a staff of more than 75 employees. Among his responsibilities, Mr. Stys developed the dealerships' business and marketing strategies while establishing the budget and dealing with other operational matters such as legal compliance. Throughout the six years he served as the General Manager, Mr. Stys increased profits, contributing an average annual growth rate of 15 percent. After leaving the dealership in 2001, Mr. Stys would return to managing car dealerships in 2008, when he moved to the Northeastern United States to lead Balise Lexus, followed by a Mercedes-Benz dealership on Long Island in New York.
