Gary Klemons DDS - Professional Summary:    Throughout his life and career, implant restoration specialist and general dentist Gary Klemons DDS has maintained involvement in a vast array of educational, professional, charitable, and personal endeavors. Born and raised in the New York metropolitan area, Gary Klemons DDS gained admission to New York University following graduation from high school. From 1974 through 1978, Gary Klemons DDS pursued a broad range of studies at New York University’s College of Arts and Science, receiving his Bachelor’s degree at the end of this period. Remaining at New York University after graduation, Gary Klemons DDS enrolled in the College of Dentistry, where he studied all facets of dental practice in classroom and clinical settings. In the summer of 1982, Gary Klemons earned both his DDS and New York State dental license, setting the stage for a prolific vocation in dentistry. After a yearlong residency in general dentistry at the Brooklyn-based Maimonides Medical Center, Gary Klemons DDS launched a private practice in Brooklyn Heights, maintaining his practice to this day. In addition, Gary Klemons DDS has spent much of his career in an attending capacity at Woodhull Medical Center and Brooklyn Hospital Center, teaching implant restoration to postdoctoral clinicians. A highly active member of the New York dental community, Gary Klemons DDS is on the Continuing Education Committee of the Second District Dental Society of New York (an affiliate of the American Dental Association) and once served as President of the Brooklyn Dental Study Group. Gary Klemons DDS has also lectured on the topic of dental implant restoration, sharing his knowledge with fellow professionals at the Annual Greater New York Dental Meeting in 1999. Concerned with animal and environmental welfare as well, Gary Klemons DDS has contributed valuable funding to such organizations as the Quogue Wildlife Refuge and Best Friends Animal Society. Along with his wife, Gary Klemons DDS resides in Brooklyn.
