The former Owner, CEO, and Chairman of American Home Improvement Products, inc and KoolVent Group Inc., Gary J. Iskra is an expert in managing home improvement businesses, having worked for 4 of the industry-related companies in the past 10 years and spent more than 30 years in the profession. His business prowess and entrepreneurial success awarded him the coveted position of Forum Moderator in the Young Presidents' Organization, as well as made him the recipient of the 2002 "Legends Award" for the Home Improvement Industry and placed him second in the "Western PA Entrepreneur of the Year" award in 1997. A current member of Duquesne Club, Annapolis Yacht Club, Ocean Reef Club, and Grand Havana Club, Gary Iskra spends the majority of his spare time sailing and boating, as well as enjoying music and most sports.

A Proven Business Model
Gary Iskra started his first business, a meat distributing company, in 1970, after which he worked for, and later acquired, the home improvement products retailer KoolVent Inc. In 1995, Gary Iskra combined KoolVent with a similarly modeled company he acquired from Sears to form American Home Improvement Products, inc, the largest home improvement company in the US. In 1999, Sears purchased Mr. Iskra’s ownership interests in American Home Improvement Products, Inc.  Today, Iskra develops acquisition and operating models, raises capital, and uncovers new and financially promising investment prospects for shareholders at GI Capital Partners, a strategic planning and investment capital firm based in Greensburg, Pennsylvania.
