About Gary Fournier
Over his more than three decades in the financial services industry, Gary Fournier has experienced several notable firsts. Early in his career, Gary Fournier served as the youngest Partner in the history of White Weld & Co., a Massachusetts-based investment banking firm. While working for Kidder, Peabody, & Co., he handled the first over-the-counter shelf registration in the country for Fremont Insurance. He has featured in articles in the Wall Street Journal and Forbes magazine.
While serving as Senior Vice President of Paine Webber & Co., Gary Fournier managed over $1 billion in assets for several affluent clients, more than any other American broker in the firm at the time of his departure. After leaving Paine Webber following its buyout by the United Bank of Switzerland, he accepted a position as Senior Vice President at the Bear Stearns Companies, Inc., which was itself sold to JP Morgan Chase & Co. shortly afterward. Currently, Gary Fournier serves as Managing Director in the Los Angeles office of JP Morgan, where he continues to manage the investments of high-profile individuals.
Gary R. Fournier devotes himself to sharing his personal success with others through charitable donations to a number of humanitarian groups. The charities he supports include Operation Heal Africa, the American Institute of Cancer Research, and the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy. He helped found the Land Conservancy's Mariposa Circle chapter in Southern California and has held fundraisers in his home to further the group's conservation efforts.
Gary Fournier also supports The Center for Learning Unlimited, a school in Torrance, California for children with autism-spectrum disorders. In his desire to give back to his community, Mr. Fournier has donated to the Boys and Girls Clubs of the LA Harbor, served as an Assistant Coach for the Pony Baseball League in Compton and San Marino, and served on the Board of Directors for Miller Children's Hospital in Long Beach, California.
