A reliability engineer and sales account manager, Gary Danehower has consistently developed and maintained successful multimillion dollar business partnerships for nearly 20 years. As a Global Strategic Account Manager for SKF, he works closely with several key clients, including Kimberly-Clark Corp., Georgia-Pacific LLC, and ArcelorMittal, S.A., netting over $18 million in aftermarket sales globally.
A graduate of The Pennsylvania State University, Gary Danehower completed his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering before joining Entek IRD International, Inc., in 1994 as a Consulting Engineer responsible for installing asset management hardware and software systems for clients interested in enhancing sales strategies, time management techniques, and database efficiency. Promoted to Senior District Manager in 1997, he managed and closed multimillion dollar accounts with R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, Bridgestone-Firestone, Westinghouse Savannah River Site, and Willamette Industries, Inc. From 2000 to 2002, Gary Danehower served as a Regional Sales Director for Vertical Alliance. Through various partnerships with tier-one and -two system integrators, he closed eBusiness software deals averaging nearly $1 million with the Houston Rockets, International Speedway Corporation, and Sea Gull Lighting.
In 2002, Gary Danehower joined SKF, a leading supplier of industrial products and services, including rolling-element bearings, automated lubrication systems, mechatronics, and seals. Promoted to Global Strategic Account Manager in 2005, Gary Danehower provides reliability engineering, hardware management, and enterprise resource planning software solutions for various maintenance- and industrial-engineering-related companies. In addition to maintaining membership with the Strategic Account Management Association and Paper Industry Management Association, Mr. Danehower supports ValleyPoint Church, Brandywine Youth Club, and Goodwill Industries International, Inc.
