About Galen Maddy
Founder and President of the Galen Maddy Group in Carlsbad, California, Galen Maddy has spent more than 40 years of his professional life immersed in the financial services and investment industries. A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Galen Maddy enrolled at Michigan State University in East Lansing in September 1964, where he pursued undergraduate studies in business. After graduating from college in June 1968, Galen Maddy relocated to Carlsbad, where he established the Galen Maddy Group. Since then, Galen Maddy has maintained involvement in a wide range of activities related to investments and financial services and currently devotes his energy to endeavors through The Veteran’s Friend.
At The Veteran’s Friend, Galen Maddy serves military veterans in San Diego County and Orange County by helping them secure the federally funded Veterans Administration Aid & Attendance Benefit for themselves and their families. In this capacity, Galen Maddy and his colleagues at The Veteran’s Friend have provided necessary assistance to numerous wartime veterans over the years and have garnered lasting praise for their work. Along with C.P.A. Len Accardi and attorney Merwyn J. Miller, Galen Maddy has built The Veteran’s Friend into one of the most trusted and recognized names specializing in assistance with the Veterans Administration Aid & Attendance Benefit Program.
