Fred Fletcher Jr



As s senior at North Carolina State University, Mr. Fletcher left his studies in 1967 to begin his entrepreneural career. As a member of the Fletcher broadcasting family, which founded Capital Broadcasting Company, WRAL Radio and Television, Mr. Fletcher became knowledgeable in business management at an early age. Learning strategic thinking and planning, as well as strength of vision, Mr. Fletcher applied these skills after college by creating over 15 companies specializing in a variety of fields, including real estate development, financial management, and satellite communications services. Through his successes, Fred Fletcher, Jr. became known throughout the North Carolina region as a skilled business and marketing consultant, providing over 40 years of strategic hands on experience to clients in areas such as market analysis and entry strategies, financial management, operational efficiencies growth planning etc. Mr. Fletcher has been particularly astute at seeing opportunities where others don't and assembling the skills and talent necessary to act on them. Important to Mr. Fletcher's success has been his special talents in sales and sales management having participated in direct marketing as well as managing and growing direct sales organizations representing over 600 salespeople.

 

In 1999, Fred Fletcher, Jr. created Fletcher Properties, LLC, a commercial and medical real estate development firm based out of Washington, North Carolina. Acting as Managing Partner for the company, Mr. Fletcher cultivated several successful properties, including a 21,000-square-foot, Class-A medical office building, acquisition, expansion or renovation of numerous urgent care properties. In 2008, Fred Fletcher, Jr. advanced an 11-acre neighborhood retail center to be built in Holly Springs, North Carolina.

 

In addition to working with Fletcher Properties, LLC, Fred Fletcher, Jr. serves as a Managing Partner for Healthcare Development Partners of North Carolina, and he holds responsibility for the finance, leasing, and sales of all medical office development. An avid golfer, Fred Fletcher, Jr. also founded Professional Golf Solutions, Inc., a golf club fitting company, and he currently serves as its Chief Executive Officer.

 

Fred Fletcher, Jr. lives happily in Washington, North Carolina, with his wife Cathy, 4 rescue dogs, 2 horses and 1 cat.
