About Frank Perocchi

Frank Perocchi - Professional Summary:

Serving his country as a U.S. Marine for more than two decades, Frank Perocchi provided extensive training to military personnel in the areas of air traffic control and airspace management. A licensed Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) air traffic controller and instrument-rated pilot, he studied professional aeronautics and computer science at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Frank Perocchi earned additional recognition as a Certified Special Use Airspace Manager through the FAA and gained certification as an instructor by completing the Air Traffic Control Instructor Training School at the Naval Air Station in Millington, Tennessee. He also completed the Marine Corps Aviation Weapons and Tactics Instructor Training School in Yuma, Arizona.

During his long career with the Marines, Frank Perocchi served as a ground combat engineer, air traffic instructor, and air combat exercise coordinator, among other duties. As a watch supervisor, he was assigned oversight of 24 air traffic controllers. Mr. Perocchi’s experience led to a significant role in planning many combat exercises, including an important Joint Chiefs of Staff mission called Solid Shield. Frank Perocchi was designated as the FAA representative who ensured safe flow of civilian and military aircraft in airspace located within a 60-mile radius of major military airports. As military liaison, he briefed town officials of upcoming low altitude fighter and other attack aircraft exercises.

Since his retirement from the military, Frank Perocchi continues to support veterans through volunteer work with a local Veterans Affairs medical clinic. His volunteerism also includes church mission work in the Dominican Republic.
