FRANCISCO GUTIERREZ - Professional Summary:    Currently I am working independently assisting and advising property developers, householders or companies in their works and producing CAD drawings. However, I would like to be involved in new challenges and participate in the process of planning and architectural design to gain more experience in the area.

I have worked designing and developing projects using different media such as sketches, hand-drawing and AutoCAD. I value the process of study, expression and experimentation to develop an idea.

London 2006 to Present :

• Working as an independent Architectural assistant helping individuals or companies in their works and projects producing sections, elevations, floor plans and technical detailing using Autocad for projects, extensions and conversions in residential, retail and office context.
I also support these people on site with measuring and sketches that are used to develop the drawings and projects in the office.
• Date: January 2008 at present working as a freelance with planning application and building regulations in some domestic residential projects and some small retail projects.

Position : Architectural assistant
Duties: Drawing layouts, changes and new designs for existing building of companies business and other office buildings. In all works for Essentia Interiors I drew plans, elevations, sections and details using AutoCAD 2005.
• Date: 15 to 25 September 2007/ 02 January to 29 February 2008 (London)
Company: Flux interiors Limited
Position : Cad designer
Duties: Assisted and designed interiors and furniture for a yacht with 30 metres of length using AutoCAD 2008. The designs were made in London but the yacht is situate in Thailand, which is why some time worked online and then sent all plans via internet .

Company: Epoc Interiors Limited.
Position : Architectural assistant
Duties: Proposed and designed changes in the basic proposal of project named “Tuscan Studios” a building of the company with offices and residential floors, checked the internal layout and the structure, finally proposed the new elevations and roof for the building, creating an image more organic and friendly with the place, Queens wood Park, also worked and developed layout, changes and new designs for existent building of national Pharmacy business and other retail buildings. In all works for Epoc Interiors I drew plans, elevations, sections and details using AutoCAD 2008 and worked with Building Regulations.

London 2004- 2006:

•Date: June 2004 to December 2006 (London)
Company: Worked as a self-employed in art and craft area for several institutions and clients.
•Duties: Involved in refurbishment, interior decorating and some furniture design, redesigning interior space for better use.
-Involved in any type of works as a craftsman and clearing-up clutter giving recommendations about the space and making or assembling furniture as storage solutions using feng shui.
-Paintings, urban landscapes, parks, portrait with colours pencil and making decorative objects using recycled materials
-Worked as a volunteer in Handel’s Museum.(October 2006 to
March 2007)

•Created and developed multiple high quality projects mainly in the private residential sector. Using the AUTOCAD Programme.
•Managed and supervised all projects on site to ensure a good standard of workmanship and compliance with building specification.

•Valued, modified and updated digitally the technical rating register of the Territorial Tax Office of the Maipu and Vitacura districts (Chile).
•Valued properties for sell and made technical inform that involve design, structure, energy, etc.
•Supervised and decorated offices, shops and industrial stores (Chile)


Chile 1991 – 1994:
•Worked as an Architectural assistant, dealing directly with clients and worked with building regulations in the following practices :
- Eduardo Delfau’s Architectural Office (Chile).
- Workshop of Regulatory Plan of the Las Condes District
(Chile).
- P. Catholic University , I worked in the publication “ Contemporary wooden Architecture in Chile”
- Bargsted and Godoy Architects.
