Father John Sullivan - Professional Summary:
An ordained priest in the Archdiocese of Boston, Father John Sullivan has served as a spiritual leader for various Boston-area Catholic parishes over the last two decades. Father John Sullivan led St. Mary’s in Melrose, MA for over twelve years, and more recently, served as Pastor of St. Margaret’s in Burlington.
Father Sullivan is engaged in Catholic ministries and organizations throughout the country. He has served as an adjunct Spiritual Director for both St. John’s Seminary in Boston and the Institute for Priestly Formation in Omaha. He has also represented Theology of the Body Institute in Philadelphia, which promotes the teachings of Blessed John Paul II.
Father Sullivan’s passion for helping others has led him to engage with Boston-area residents, especially students and young people, who struggle with substance abuse and addiction. He is now transitioning from his parochial career to become a certified Emergency Medical Technician. He hopes to begin working as an EMT after receiving the results from his Massachusetts State Certification Exam.
An avid runner, Father Sullivan has raced in the New York City and Boston marathons.
