A member of the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ), Farrah Fazal studied broadcast journalism, political science, and psychology at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and Mount Royal College. Farrah Fazal established herself as a well-regarded, award-winning producer, reporter, and anchor.

 

Over the last 10 years, Farrah Fazal earned a reputation for insightful reporting while employed by KTVI in St. Louis, Missouri, and by KETV in Omaha, Nebraska. Farrah Fazal served as a member of the I-Team at KETV, and she attracted increased viewership as a weekend anchor. In many of her roles, Farrah Fazal focused on enterprise stories, and she received the Best Enterprise Story award from the South Asian Journalists Association (SAJA). Farrah Fazal also won two Emmy awards.

 

Born in Africa, Farrah Fazal spent time in England and Canada. Farrah Fazal speaks a number of languages fluently, including Spanish.
