Fabian Aguirre - Professional Summary:    

A member of the American Psychological Association, Fabian Aguirre recently earned a PhD in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. During his time at UT, he received distinction via a number of awards and honors, such as the Professional Development Award presented by the UT Graduate School and an honorable mention from the Ford Foundation Diversity Fellowship Program. Since 2008, Fabian Aguirre has served as an Ad Hoc Reviewer for the Journal of Clinical Psychiatry and Psychiatry Research.

Fabian Aguirre began preparing for his career as a psychologist at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and penned an honors thesis related to cross-cultural symptoms of schizophrenia. He went on to gain a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology at California State University, Northridge, before earning admission to the University of Texas.

Fabian Aguirre holds a diverse array of teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant with the University of Texas Department of Psychology and as an Adjunct Professor with Huston-Tillotson University.
