Ernest Grotsky

Well-regarded general contractor and businessman Ernest Grotsky knows the rewards that are harvested through hard work. Ernest Grotsky most recently functioned as Senior Project Manager at CB, Richard Ellis, where he oversaw numerous projects, all while staying on schedule and within budget. Before he ever handled a multimillion-dollar contract, Ernest Grotsky served in the construction field, opening his own business. Based in Columbus, Ohio, G & W Masonry Systems was an upstart company that focused on concrete and masonry work for government, industrial, commercial, and school projects.

 

In his capacity as President, Ernest Grotsky supervised 35 to 75 employees, successfully bidding on many projects. Not long after opening G & W Masonry Systems, Ernest Grotsky opened the Lake Worth, Florida-based Construction Systems of the Palm Beaches Inc., which proved a solid next step. Once dealing with projects that peaked at $1 million during his tenure with G & W Masonry, Ernest Grotsky has earned bids topping out at five times as much in more recent years. In his capacity with Construction Systems of the Palm Beaches, Ernest Grotsky saw increased profit in concrete pumping and sub-contracting, dealing with assignments of 200 to 600 cubic yards of concrete on a daily basis.

 

Ernest Grotsky broadened his knowledge of construction in Sarasota, Florida, where he functioned as a licensed Building Inspector for the county government. While familiarizing himself with the traditional construction methods of the area, Ernest Grotsky also ensured that conformity with all plumbing, electrical, mechanical, repair, and building codes was maintained.

 

Subsequently, Ernest Grotsky operated as an Engineering Field Service Representative for Kortech Consulting Incorporated, interpreting construction drawings and performing recordkeeping for the $18.5 million 3M construction site in Livonia, Michigan. In the course of this project, Ernest Grotsky also facilitated all OSHA and 3M safety practices. From there, Ernest Grotsky relocated his services to Detroit, where he worked as a Project Manager for EBI Detroit, Inc. With responsibility for a $38.3 million design/build assignment, Ernest Grotsky managed all construction and personnel activity with ease.

 

At John S. Clarke Company, LLC Ernest Grotsky earned the role of Vice President of Operations/Project Manager. Ernest Grotsky communicated directly with architects, owners, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure that all scheduling and budgetary needs were met. He coordinated scores of large-scale projects, some ranging from $7.5 million to $17 million. From 2006 to 2008, Ernest Grotsky completed a successful tenure at CB, Richard Ellis.
