  Erik Stromquist acts as the Chief Operating Officer of CTL, a Portland, Oregon consumer electronics firm that designs and manufactures high-performance servers, LED monitors, mobile workstations, and desktop computers. As Chief Operating Officer, Erik Stromquist reports directly to the CEO and runs the day-to-day operations of the company. He maintains responsibility for the strategic oversight of CTL's finance, marketing, and sales departments, and he plans the course of the company over the short and long term. In 1992, Erik Stromquist received a BS from the University of Oregon, where he studied finance, accounting, and decision sciences. Working at CTL since his graduation from the University of Oregon, Erik Stromquist co-founded both ReTronics and NEXUS Electronics, two successful CTL brands. A strong team leader, Erik Stromquist serves not only as a member of the senior leadership team setting the direction of CTL but also as a Board Member at Washington Materials Management and Financing Authority. In addition, he sits on the Western Oregon State Foundation Board of Trustees and on the Intel Premier Provider Board of Advisors. In 2009, Erik Stromquist achieved recognition as one of Portland Business Journal's “40 Under 40.” An honor reserved for young rising stars in the Portland business community, this award singled out Erik Stromquist for his remarkable accomplishments at CTL and his potential for future achievement in business. An active member of the Portland community, Erik Stromquist belongs to Microsoft Partner Advisory Council, the Oregon Society of CPAs, and Northwest Portland Industrial Council. In his free time, Erik Stromquist loves spending time outdoors, and particularly enjoys skiing and running marathons. The chief operating officer (COO) reports to the chief executive officer and is responsible for the day to day operating activities of the organization. Along with CTL's Chief Executive Officer and other senior executives, Stromquist is part of the senior leadership team that sets the overall direction of CTL.

As CTL's chief operating officer, Erik Stromquist is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of CTL's sales, marketing, and finance organizations. Responsibilities also include directing company operations to meet budget and other financial goals, direct short term and long term planning, and successful execution of business strategies for products and services.

Erik co-founded and helped launch Retronics and Nexus Electronics, both successful CTL business units. In 2007, Stromquist also led and spearheaded the development of the popular 2go line of tablets and touch enabled PC's. Stromquist has contributed to continuous revenue growth while establishing CTL as one of the top 10 system integrators in the USA(ranked by CRN)

In his spare time, Stromquist lends his expertise as a board member to the Washington Material Management and Financing Authority, the Intel Premier Provider Board of Advisors and the Western Oregon State Foundation Board of Trustees.
