Licensed by the American Board of Certifications (ABC) as a pedorthist, Eric Vainer has more than 20 years of experience working in the non-profit health care sector. Since 2013, he has served as a senior board member of DearFeet, located in Brooklyn, New York. This non-profit provider of diabetic and orthopedic foot care caters to low-income and uninsured patients in New York City’s five boroughs. DearFeet also instructs patients on proper foot care and nutrition for those dealing with diabetes.
Concurrently, Eric Vainer works as director of Pala Community Care, LLC, also in Brooklyn. Under his instruction, Pala established an emergency response transport service for those individuals dealing with mobility issues and acute distress. Mr. Vainer manages all the workflow and ensures the company remains compliant with federal and state regulations.
An advocate for less-fortunate members of the community, Eric Vainer actively contributes to Goodwill Industries and serves on the board of Community Medical Disorder PC, which is a local organization that helps those with mental illness or multiple sclerosis.
