A resident of Elizabeth, New Jersey, analyst and financial executive Eleni Demetriou brings a high degree of professionalism and commitment to her work. While an undergraduate at Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey, Eleni Demetriou laid the foundations for a career in business as a Management and Finance major. After receiving her B.S. from Rutgers University, Eleni Demetriou gained a position as a Trading Assistant at Prudential Capital Management Group in Newark, where she focused on short-term taxable money markets. From January 1990 to April 1992, Eleni Demetriou learned the finer points of the financial trading industry by researching hedged, CMO, and asset-backed transactions, evaluating diversified portfolios, and more. A capable trainer as well, Eleni Demetriou shared her knowledge with new recruits at Prudential Capital Management Group, instructing them in operational procedures. Recognizing her notable performance, Prudential promoted Eleni Demetriou to Trading Assistant Supervisor of its Liquidity Asset Management Division in April 1992. As an assistant to portfolio managers, Eleni Demetriou worked on the short- and long-term tax-exempt municipal and short-term fixed income of a portfolio arrangement with a net value of $1.5 billion. Eleni Demetriou ensured the integrity of the portfolios' investment guidelines, provided analysis and reviews of client performance, and handled the Management Asset Portfolio System Database. Remaining committed to her function as a coach and mentor, Eleni Demetriou oversaw and monitored the progress of several interns at Prudential Liquidity Asset Management. In October 1993, Eleni Demetriou earned a subsequent promotion to Associate Manager of long-term operations (MBS) at Prudential Fixed Income Advisors in Short Hills, New Jersey. For more than three years, Eleni Demetriou served Prudential Fixed Income Advisors in a variety of ways, including the management of MBS trade support, maintenance of PAC schedules for CMOs, monitoring a wide range of paydowns, and lending her input to the development of a trading system. Eleni Demetriou stayed in Short Hills to become Associate Manager of Global Small Cap Equities in January 1997. Several executive roles have since followed for Eleni Demetriou at such major investment firms as Chase Manhattan Bank, JPMorgan Chase & Company, and ML & Co., Inc. Eleni Demetriou recently served as Vice President of Institutional Marketing (U.S. Business) at Prudential Financial in Newark.
