Dr. Eladio Carrera is an active member of the American Medical Association and a former Associate Member of the American College of Emergency Physicians. Acknowledged for the integrity and veracity he brings to the profession, Dr. Eladio Carrera is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Board of Ethical Physicians. Moreover, the Consumers’ Research Council of America included Dr. Eladio Carrera in its list of America’s Top Physicians in 2003 through 2008. As a longtime Las Vegas resident, Dr. Eladio Carrera has worked for some of the region’s finest medical institutions. Dr. Eladio Carrera operated as Chief of Gastroenterology at the for-profit Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center. A talented physician and adept leader, Dr. Eladio Carrera was named Vice-Chief of Medicine at Valley Hospital Medical Center before working his way up to the position of Chief of Medicine at Valley Hospital. In addition, Dr. Eladio Carrera served on the Internal Medicine Committee and the Impaired Physician Review Committee at Valley Hospital Medical Center. As a former Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada, Dr. Eladio Carrera was responsible for training medical students, giving them the support and instruction they needed to be successful practitioners. When not practicing medicine, Dr. Eladio Carrera is an avid gardener. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle, Dr. Eladio Carrera regularly exercises and enjoys skiing in his free time.
