Career
Mr. Edward Sevadjian serves as President of the Dallas-based Duntov Motor Company LLC, where he takes charge in efficiently leading all departments of the business, from race preparation to telephone sales. Mr. Edward Sevadjian is in charge of overseeing all Corvette racecar restorations and Corvette chassis and suspension parts restoration, as well as supervising the company’s team of experienced fabricators, engineers, and metalworkers. Sevadjian’s most important task is managing the manufacture of the Duntov LightWeight, a replica car approved for vintage racing. Joining the team at Duntov Motor Company in March 2005, Mr. Edward Sevadjian has since gone on to manufacture the aforesaid first vintage racing-approved grand sport replica: the Duntov LightWeight. Prior to the creation of the Duntov LightWeight, replica cars were not granted permission for vintage racing. Sevadjian and his team at DMC presented their cars to four of the most prominent vintage racing venues (which include the two largest venues in the United States), and each of the organizations have approved the cars for competition.
Racing To The Dream
Edward has been involved in racing from the early age of six when he got his first kart. Also, he has been in attendance for every one of his fathers' races dating back to the runoffs at Road Atlanta in 1980 when he could only hear the cars through his mother's belly. He continues to race and co-drive the factory racecar with his father in the endurance races today. Mr. Edward Sevadjian remains well connected to the racing world not only through his job, but through his affiliation with numerous racing and sports car organizations, including the Sports Car Club of America, the Historic Sportscar Racing, and the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association.
Education
Mr. Edward Sevadjian attended Colorado State University, where he studied History and Business from 1999 to 2005. At Colorado State, Sevadjian was active in Sigma Chi Society; Intramural Softball, Football, Soccer, Water Polo, and Basketball.
