An active member of the Board of Directors of the Western Wood Truss Association of British Columbia and the Canadian Wood Truss Association, Ed Lim, P.Eng. is also a member of the Provincial Steering Committee of the Canadian Wood Council, a non-profit commence and profession association that represents the solid wood products industry. Ed Lim, P.Eng. assists the council in the production of many projects and publications, such as the Engineering Guide for Wood Frame Construction and the Design and Costing Workbook series. Ed Lim, P.Eng. remains a dedicated business executive while still enjoying some of the perquisites of his position. While he likes to drive an 18-speed Kenworth 18-wheeler, Ed Lim P.Eng. particularly enjoys operating United Building Systems’ 20-ton, 95-foot stiff boom crane to unload prefabricated wood frame systems onto construction sites. He also finds pleasure in spending time with his family and active with Coaching Soccer in his kids community league.
