Edmund Parker- Summary:

A dedicated community builder and visionary leader, Arizona resident Edmund Parker is a recognized expert in managing non-profit organizations at the executive level. Having served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona for 32 years, Edmund Parker possesses not only an adeptness in public speaking and strategic long-range planning but also a keen expertise in the cultivation and solicitation of major gifts. Indeed, he raised more than $350 million in contributions during his time at United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona, and he personally secured eight $1 million gifts.

During his time at United Way, Mr. Parker was also instrumental in transforming the group from a predominantly fundraising-focused organization to a community-building and results-based organization.
