A graduate of Northern Michigan University, Earl Ricker serves as the Director of Human Resources for Gdirect, LLC, based in the greater Phoenix, Arizona area. Earl Ricker manages the recruitment and establishment of sales teams for the Christian business ministry and advertising publisher. Working with churches and Christian business owners, Earl Ricker trains Gdirect, LLC, representatives to teach biblical concepts and Christian principles to business owners. He has helped establish successful outreach teams in Phoenix, Los Angeles, and Dallas.
In addition to his business career, Earl Ricker functions as a singer, songwriter, and music producer. Mr. Ricker’s songwriting style spans the country and Christian music genres. He crafts both evocative, heart-wrenching ballads and humorous country ditties like “Ten Cent Mind and Million Dollar Body.” A longtime member of the Nashville Songwriters Association International, Earl Ricker offers advice to aspiring songwriters in blog posts and through his service as a mentor.
Through his songwriting, Earl Ricker became interested in recording and now produces professional quality CDs and MP3s. Publishing his songs through Richter Scale Music, his company based near Phoenix, Earl Ricker has created a growing catalog of recordings which is available to download at www.EarlRicker.com. An accomplished music engineer, Earl Ricker works with Avid Technology Pro Tools digital recording software. Pro Tools became an industry standard for sound mixing with the recording of Ricky Martin’s “Livin’ La Vida Loca,” the first U.S. chart-topping song completely mixed and recorded with Pro Tools.
Earl Ricker supports a number of charities in the Phoenix area, including the Save the Family Foundation of Arizona, an organization that helps families overcome homelessness, and Maggie’s Place, which provides safe havens for expectant mothers who are living on the streets.
