Dubernia Bales is a civil engineer licensed in the states of Arizona, Florida, and Nevada. Currently based in Las Vegas, he maintains membership with the American Society of Civil Engineers. Dubernia Bales embarked on his engineering career at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. After graduation, Mr. Bales went on to work for G.C. Wallace, Inc., as a Civil Engineer. In that position, he was involved with projects for the Las Vegas Valley Water District and several other companies.
In 1996, Mr. Bales transitioned to Martin & Martin Civil Engineers, where he took on the role of Project Manager. He teamed with contractors and designers to create major grading and drainage projects for well-known companies. By the late 1990s, Dubernia Bales was a Civil Engineer with the City of North Las Vegas. For three years, he made sure companies and developers complied with city codes, among other duties.
In 1999, Dubernia Bales moved back into the private sector. He accepted the position of Project Manager with Stantec Consulting Inc., where he was responsible for managing teams of up to 25 employees. Mr. Bales established his own Las Vegas-based engineering company, Zone Engineering, Inc., in 2005. As President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Bales has overseen numerous projects and built positive, professional relationships with clients from both the public and private sector.
Dubernia Bales pursues a number of hobbies in his spare time. He is an avid swimmer and loves deep-sea fishing and diving. Mr. Bales' other hobbies include baseball, football, and golf. In addition to staying active with sports, Dubernia Bales contributes to the American Red Cross and is a Bronze level philanthropist with the Community Philanthropist Circle.
