About Dr Timothy Huckabee
Education
Dr. Timothy Huckabee earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Zoology from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. While at Texas Tech, Dr. Huckabee was a member of Phi Delta Theta, was included in the “Who’s Who on Campus,” and made the Dean’s List. After Dr. Timothy Huckabee’s 1983 graduation from Texas Tech University, he went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Science from Baylor College of Dentistry. Dr. Huckabee received his DDS in 1987, and in 1993, he became the Owner and President of Huckabee Dental, Dr. Huckabee’s Southlake, Texas-based private dental practice.
Community Involvement
In addition to managing his practice and directing a staff of 20 dental and administrative professionals, Dr. Timothy Huckabee also takes time out to assist the less fortunate through his volunteer work and community service. Dr. Timothy Huckabee has served as a volunteer dentist for Honduras Mission Trips and has participated with Dentistry with a Heart. Dr. Timothy Huckabee is a husband, a father of three children, a qualified dental professional, and a certified cosmetic dental specialist.
Affiliations
He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Dallas County Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. Additionally, Dr. Huckabee has served as a consultant to a number of national dental laboratories and manufacturers and has served as a frequent speaker at both local and national dental conferences.
Notable Achievements
Dr. Timothy Huckabee was elected by his peers as one of the “Best Dentists in America” in 2005, and he has been named the “Top Dentist of Tarrant County” by Ft. Worth, Texas Magazine.
