Dr Paul Perito

Urologist Dr. Paul Perito has not only gained immense respect for his work with erectile dysfunction, but over the past decade he has built the world’s largest practice specializing in penile implant surgery. The practice, Perito Urology, is located in Coral Gables, Florida where Dr. Paul Perito performs hundreds of successful penile implant surgeries each year. Perito Urology was founded in 2005 and is now considered a leader in the field of erectile dysfunction.

 

Earning a bachelor’s degree at Emory University and a medical degree at the University of Maryland’s School of Medicine, Dr. Paul Perito also participated in an African exchange program that led him to create an international studies elective. Dr. Paul Perito completed a fellowship and residency at the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine in Florida and Flinders Hospital in Australia, where he studied prostatic disease.

 

Board certified in urology, Dr. Paul Perito has been featured in numerous publications, including the Journal of Urology and Cancer. Dr. Paul Perito’s work has been revolutionary, with his penile implant research leading to new surgical procedures that he often teaches to other surgeons. He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society and is a fellow with the American College of Surgeons. Other memberships held by Dr. Paul Perito include the National Academy of Incontinence Surgeons and the Sexual Medicine Society of North America.

 

In 1993, Dr. Paul Perito was awarded first place for his research presentation at the Annual Florida Residents Meeting. This is but one of many presentations that Dr. Paul Perito has conducted over the past twenty years. He has continued to conduct research and publish his findings in peer-reviewed journals, including The Journal of Urology and the International Journal of Impotence Research: The Journal of Sexual Medicine. 

 

Dr. Paul Perito’s minimally invasive implant procedure seeks to provide patients with as pain-free an experience as possible, both during and after surgery. He regularly provides training to physicians on his minimally invasive infra-pubic implantation technique, which Dr. Paul Perito reports has successfully reduced infection and minimized recovery time.
