Pennsylvania physician Dr. Charles Avetian commands comprehensive experience in the fields of internal medicine and medical research. Dr. Charles Avetian earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed an internship at Metropolitan Hospital, Springfield Division, as well as an internal medicine residency at Lankenau Medical Center. An affiliate of Lankenau Medical Center since his formal training ended in 1993 and of Delaware County Memorial Hospital since 1995, Dr. Charles Avetian operates as a Courtesy Staff member at the former and a Staff Physician at the latter. During his first year on the staff of Lankenau Medical Center, Dr. Charles Avetian presided as House Physician. Subsequently joining the Crozer-Keystone Health System, he functioned as a Network Physician for 13 years. In 1998, Dr. Charles Avetian accepted an appointment as an Attending Physician with Mercy Health Network, in which capacity he worked for a year before transitioning to serve as a Practice Physician at George K. Avetian, DO. In 2000, Dr. Charles Avetian began to focus on research, accepting a post with Asthma and Allergy Research Associates as a Practice Physician and Sub-Investigator. He continued to serve as a Practice Physician until 2003, when he decided to dedicate the entirety of his attention to research activities. Between August 2007 and August 2008, Dr. Charles Avetian also operated as a Physician Reviewer for MAXIMUS in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, participating in a consultant panel and conducting reviews of several medications. Committed to helping his community through avenues beyond his profession, Dr. Charles Avetian performs community service for the Boy Scouts of America and donates to charities affiliated with his church. In his leisure time he enjoys gardening and engaging in outdoor activities.
