About Dr Beers
Since 1995, Dr. Dan Beers has assisted thousands of patients in the San Francisco Bay Area in improving their eyesight. As the owner of Mountain View’s Peninsula Laser Eye Medical Group, Dr. Dan Beers provides a variety of surgical eye treatments, including lens implants and cataract and laser surgery. Dr. Dan Beers utilizes the most advanced techniques and products on the market, including VISX Wavefront, IntraLase, Crystalens, ReSTOR, and toric intraocular lenses.
Well known among colleagues and patients alike for his exemplary patient care, Dr. Dan Beers was named one of the area’s top ophthalmologists by San Jose Magazine. Dr. Dan Beers been a sponsor of the San Francisco Giants with the “Sharp Eye of the Game” feature during broadcasts.
Dr. Dan Beers is an active member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Dan Beers also serves as the Chief of Ophthalmology at El Camino Hospital and as an adjunct faculty member at Stanford University.
Extensively educated, Dr. Dan Beers possesses a Doctor of Medicine from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), and a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and Philosophy from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). Upon graduation from UCSF, Dr. Dan Beers attended Oregon Health Sciences, where he participated in early FDA studies on excimer laser and laser vision correction techniques.
Dr. Dan Beers currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife and children.
