A current resident of Somers, Connecticut, Dr. Robert Dudek serves as an orthopedic surgeon at the Johnson Memorial Medical Center campus of St. Francis Care of Connecticut. As a specialist in musculoskeletal medical conditions, he assists a variety of patients referred from the surrounding communities, prescibing treatments and when necessary, carrying out surgical procedures. Dr. Robert Dudek provides his services through several other hospital positions. He has recently assumed the role of chief of the entire Department of Surgery at the JMMC campus of St. Francis Care. He is also a member of the Medical Executive Committee, a member of the Ethics Committee, and a member of the Peer Quality Improvement Committee. In addition, Dr. Dudek also serves as an instructor at the University of Connecticut Medical School.
Prior to his current position, his responcibilities at the Johnson Memorial Medical Center involved two years as as chief of the section of orthopedic surgery. Dr. Dudek has also had other teaching experiences in the orthopedic residency program at St. Louis Univeristy School of Medicine in St. Louis Missouri, including The Shriners Hospital, Childrens Hospital, County Hospital and Barnes and Jewish Hospitals.
