About Dr. Molly J. Hall
During her 21 years of active duty with the United States Air Force (USAF), Dr. Molly Hall has directed numerous educational programs, managed million dollar budgets, and provided medical advice to top military commanders.
From 2005 through 2008, retired USAF Colonel Dr. Molly Hall administered Air Force Medical Service academic courses to more than 3,600 physician officers and 1,300 physicians in Graduate Medical Education (GME). As Dean of the GME program for the Air Force and a Clinical Associate Professor with the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Dr. Hall supervised a $4 million budget and coordinated efforts among national accrediting agencies, medical school deans, and specialty boards to provide superior armed forces training.
Dr. Molly Hall has also operated as an Associate Professor and Assistant Chair of the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences’ (USUHS) Department of Psychiatry. Working at the school’s Bethesda, Maryland, campus, Dr. Hall maintained responsibility for all of the department’s medical education programs. In addition, Dr. Molly Hall created curricula and taught clinical psychiatric principles to USUHS medical students and residents of the National Capital Area (NCA) program. As a senior staff member, Dr. Hall mentored junior faculty and implemented faculty development courses as well.
Complementing her years of training young military officers, Dr. Molly Hall has supplied medical advice to some of the USAF’s highest ranking officials. As the Director of the Air Force Medical Consultants, Dr. Hall supervised 15 Air Force medical program clinical consultants and chaired a Medical Practice Review Board in charge of investigating malpractice claims and credentialing matters. In her capacity as Director, Dr. Molly Hall operated as a medical consultant of all specialties to the Air Force Chief of Staff, the Surgeon General, the Air Staff, and Secretariat. Before entering the military, Dr. Molly Hall graduated with an MD from Weill Cornell Medical College at Cornell University.
