About Dr. Mark Lonquist
For the past 15 years, Dr. Mark Lonquist has provided medical care to patients throughout Arizona. Upon finishing his undergraduate education at the University of Victoria in British Columbia, Canada, Dr. Mark Lonquist entered medical school at the University of British Columbia, where he received his degree in 1992. Dr. Mark Lonquist remained in Canada to complete his residency at the Canadian College of Family Physicians. For the next two years, Dr. Mark Lonquist practiced family medicine and emergency medicine at Burnaby Hospital and Locum Tenens in British Columbia.
Dr. Mark Lonquist relocated to Arizona in 1995, joining the Maryvale Hospital Medical Center Department of Emergency Medicine, where he provided critical care to patients for four years. Today, Dr. Mark Lonquist serves as President, Medical Director, and Physician of the Estrella Mountain Medical Group, a family medical practice in Goodyear, Arizona. In addition to his operational duties as Medical Director, Dr. Mark Lonquist also offers occupational health services to his patients.
A longtime sports fan, Dr. Mark Lonquist combines his medical expertise and his passion for athletics as a physician for the Cleveland Indians. While the Cleveland Indians conduct spring training at their new facility in Goodyear, Dr. Mark Lonquist provides team physicals, organizes the players' medical needs, and provides care for players' families and team staff.
In his free time, Dr. Mark Lonquist enjoys playing hockey with his amateur team, Old Boys, at Coyotes Polar Ice. Dr. Mark Lonquist also spends time playing golf and renovating his home.
