About Dr. Leon Forrester Tcheupdjian
Known as “Lipodoc” and “The Father of Liposuction,” Dr. Leon Forrester Tcheupdjian is a cosmetic surgeon and the director of four medical clinics in the Chicago area. Also known to his patients as “Dr. T,” Dr. Leon Forrester Tcheupdjian has specialized in liposuction procedures since 1981. A graduate of Northwestern University School of Medicine, Dr. Leon Forrester Tcheupdjian has probably performed or supervised more liposuction and lipotherapy procedures than any other surgeon in the U.S. The author of a popular online e-book, Liposuction: New Hope for a New Figure Through the Art of Body Contouring (www.lipo-book.com), Dr. Leon Forrester Tcheupdjian has earned numerous honors in the medical profession, including board certification from the International Board of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the American Board of Family Practice; fellowship with the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery; and certification from the American Society of Bariatric Physicians.
Dr. Leon Forrester Tcheupdjian also instructs other surgeons in the art of liposuction and plastic surgery. As the leading surgeon in Chicago to offer liposculpting, cellulite treatment, and other body-sculpting procedures, Dr. Leon Forrester Tcheupdjian has been responsible for the development of the Leon Cobra, a tube designed for precision contouring in fragile parts of the body. Dr. Leon Forrester Tcheupdjian is also the inventor of two later canulas: the Leon Heart, which treats cellulite and dimples, and the Leon Spiral, which is designed to remove stubborn fat in the lower and upper back areas. In his liposuction procedures, Dr. Leon Forrester Tcheupdjian makes a small incision in the skin and uses these canulas to safely and effectively remove fat tissues. Dr. Leon Forrester Tcheupdjian has also developed numerous technologies to create specific looks for clients, including tiny instruments designed to carve the appearance of a “six-pack” or sculpted legs.
