About Dr. Greg Morganroth
Dermatologist Dr. Greg Morganroth is the President of the California Skin Institute in Mountain View, California, which he formed jointly with Dr. Sara L. Colby and Associates in 2007. An accomplished physician and surgeon, Dr. Greg Morganroth’s career has been characterized by a consistent record of clinical excellence, teaching, and publications.
Dr. Greg Morganroth graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan Medical School, where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. Greg Morganroth subsequently interned at the University of Pennsylvania before completing his dermatology residency at Yale University in 1994.
After completing his formal studies, Dr. Greg Morganroth underwent additional training in skin oncological surgical procedures, including Mohs Surgery, as well as laser, cosmetic, and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Greg Morganroth was one of only 35 dermatologists worldwide that year to complete a specialized fellowship in all of these techniques. Following his training, Dr. Greg Morganroth entered private practice in Silicon Valley in 1995.
Since that time, Dr. Greg Morganroth has won accolades for his world-class dermatological surgery practice. Dr. Greg Morganroth is a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, American Academy of Dermatology, California Dermatology Society, and American College of Mohs Surgery. Additionally, Dr. Greg Morganroth has authored a number of peer-review journal articles and book chapters on cosmetic surgery techniques. Dr. Greg Morganroth’s research has been published in the New England Journal of Medicine, the Archives of Dermatology, and many other prestigious medical journals.
As of June 2004, Dr. Greg Morganroth has offered the Mohs and Advanced Dermatologic Surgery Fellowship Training Program through the California Skin Institute. Dr. Greg Morganroth’s program is one of only 75 such programs in the world and one of two Mohs training programs in the San Francisco area. Graduates of Dr. Greg Morganroth’s program have excelled in the field, developing notable careers across the United States.
Dr. Greg Morganroth has held adjunct teaching appointments at several universities and fellowship training programs, including Stanford University, the Mittelman Facial Plastic Surgery Fellowship training program, and the University of California at San Francisco. In his spare time, Dr. Greg Morganroth enjoys spending time with his wife and three young children.
