As the President of Holistic Pet Care, P. A., in Little Falls, New Jersey, Dr. Gerald Buchoff plays an active role in directing the facility’s operations and staff. Since transitioning into the position in 2003, Dr. Gerald Buchoff has continued to serve clients through his administration of Holistic Pet Care, as well as his work as a veterinarian. Dr. Gerald Buchoff develops and produces raw diets for pets, performs dental procedures and surgical operations on animals, and oversees the premises’ animal hospital. In conjunction with his work leading Holistic Pet Care, Dr. Gerald Buchoff founded Dr. B’s Holistic Pet Products, LLC, in 2007 and continues to operate the company today. Specializing in the design, production, and distribution of holistic pet food products, the firm operates out of Woodland Park and Little Falls, New Jersey.
From 1976 through 1980, Dr. Gerald Buchoff studied at the G. B. Pant University of Technology and Agriculture in India, earning an advanced degree in veterinary science and animal husbandry. During this time, Dr. Gerald Buchoff published an academic article regarding genetic control on the immune system’s response. Prior to studying in India, Dr. Buchoff earned a Master of Science in Zoology with a specialization in Immunology at the Graduate School - New Brunswick at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Rutgers’ Cook College. A past President of the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association, he is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Veterinary Medical Association, the NJ Veterinary Medical Association, the Veterinary Botanical Medicine Association, and others.
