About Dr. Gary Evans

An alumnus of the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Gary Evans has experienced considerable success since earning his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. As a medical student, Dr. Gary Evans consistently demonstrated the talent for leadership and a passion for helping others that has become a hallmark of his career. Upon graduating with his DPM, Dr. Gary Evans entered into private practice, where he has since built a solid reputation for his deep knowledge of podiatry and state-of-the-art treatments.


Well known for his pioneering work with techniques such as the Triplane Bunionectomy, Dr. Gary Evans possesses a masterful command of the most innovative surgical treatments in the field. In addition to the Triplane Bunionectomy, Dr. Gary Evans is among the few podiatrists in New York City who administer Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy, which reduces foot pain through a series of high-frequency shock waves directed toward the source of the pain. Dr. Gary Evans is also proficient in treatments utilizing the PinPointe FootLaser, as well as various corrective surgeries that implement the use of cosmetic procedures for maximum patient satisfaction.


Dr. Gary Evans’ acclaimed work led to his appearance on the national television show “Good Morning America,” where he demonstrated the use of the PinPointe FootLaser.


Dr. Gary Evans is board certified in Foot Surgery, Podiatric Orthopedics, and Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy. A Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Dr. Gary Evans is also a member of the New York State Podiatric Medical Association, the American Podiatric Medical Association, and the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine.


Beyond his professional endeavors, Dr. Gary Evans enjoys running and playing a wide variety of sports. Dr. Gary Evans has his Podiatry practice in New York City for 27 years.
