Active as a physician in the San Francisco Bay Area, Dr. Gary Cecchi enjoys spending his free time developing his interests in the wine industry. In 1996, Gary Cecchi played an integral role in establishing Grey Fox Vineyards. Located in Oroville, California, Grey Fox Vineyards primarily grows Barbera, Syrah, Sangiovese, and Zinfandel varietals. Highly regarded for its excellent red wines, Grey Fox Vineyards also makes premium white and blush wines, as well as dessert wines. Beyond his affiliation with Grey Fox Vineyards, Dr. Gary Cecchi acts as a founder and Managing Partner of Northern California Hematology and Oncology Medical Group. Board certified in hematology, oncology, and internal medicine, Dr. Gary Cecchi provides expert care to people with blood disorders, cancers, and many other medical conditions. Over the course of his professional career, he has also served as Director for the Cancer and Infusion Services at Alameda Hospital, Director for the Hematology and Medical Oncology and Director of the Lung Cancer and Lung Cancer Screening program at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center, and Managing Partner of Hematology/Oncology Associates and East Bay Hematology and Oncology Consultants, Inc. Most recently, Dr. Gary Cecchi accepted the position of Medical Examiner for Federal Aviation Administration. Once a year, Dr. Gary Cecchi invites his medical associates, patients, and friends to a party held at Grey Fox Vineyards.
